So we went out last night to peel off the paper on on the walls that was left after peeling off the wallpaper. You know, that stuff that doesn't want to come off? We needed to get it off, especially around where the mud guy needs to tape around the new ceiling in the kitchen.
We drove out there, dressed in grubbies and armed with tools and a trash bag. It wasn't until I actually flipped the switch and no lights came on that we remembered the workers had taken down all the light fixtures to put up the new ceilings. Ginko biloba, anyone?
Sigh. We went back this morning and got the job done.
